The three genetrations of the legenday Woollacott family of boatbuilders and designers. Bert, John and Rob Woollacott. Rob was as much a legend as his father and grandfather were before him, and his creation of "Blue Moon" was nothing short of stunning.
This group of photographs of the legendary boatbuilders and one of their most memorable designs is put together as we commence the 2025 - 26 season. The portrait of Bert was taken in the 60's, and for John taken in the 80's. The photo of Rob was taken during Blues Moon's 15 years of travels around the Pacific.

!!! Latest News - The Woollacott Association has been gifted Janace Anne in order to save her from the scrap heap. Janace Anne has been neglected for a few years and is in a need of Antifouling and a bit of paint, along with some other work. We do have a young person that is keen to take care of Janace Anne once she if up and running.
The Woollacott Association has arranged for Janace Anne to be hauled out at DYC on Saturday 13th Dec around 1500hrs for around two weeks, first step is to scrape the weed off and give it a good water blast. On Sunday 14th Dec start to sand ready for Antilfouling. It would be great to get the topside's sanded and painted at the same time, along with working through getting the motor running. Any support and assistance during this period would be most appreciated, some donations (or say memberships fees for the last few years) would be of great assistance to cover required materials and hauling/mooring fees.
